SEALISON FOR RETAIL · CUSTOMER-FACING AI

A customer disputes
what your AI said.

Can you prove what happened?

When AI makes promises to customers — refunds, delivery dates, price quotes, policy explanations — you need cryptographic evidence, not screenshots.

REALITY CHECK

Two stories. One truth.

CUSTOMER SAYS

I was told I’d get a refund.

YOUR SYSTEM SAYS

That’s not what happened.

This is no longer a support issue. It’s a compliance problem.

WHAT TEAMS RELY ON TODAY

None of these are verifiable externally.

Application logs

Stored in your stack. Visible only to you. Editable by anyone with access.

Internal databases

Can be modified, migrated, corrupted. No way to prove a specific row is unchanged.

Screenshots

Screenshots are easy to challenge and difficult to verify independently.

They can be modified. They can be challenged. And when a regulator or a plaintiff asks for proof, “we believe” isn’t an answer.

WITH SEALISON

Each interaction is sealed as a verifiable record.

01

Hash

The exact AI output is hashed with SHA-256 at the moment it's produced.

02

Seal

The hash is sealed in a signed, append-only chain. Ed25519 signatures. Any change is cryptographically detectable.

03

Keep

The original content stays with you. SEALISON does not store what your AI said — only the proof.

04

Verify

Later, you (or anyone) can reproduce the interaction and verify it matches. Public CLI verifier planned for stronger independent verification.

EU AI ACT · ARTICLE 12

When AI outputs become evidence.

Article 12 of the EU AI Act sets out requirements for:

  • Traceabilityability to reconstruct AI behavior after the fact.
  • Tamper-evident loggingrecords that can’t be altered silently.
  • Minimum 6-month retentionfor AI systems subject to high-risk obligations.

Sealison does not determine whether an AI system is high-risk and does not provide legal compliance certification. It provides cryptographic evidence that can support auditability and compliance demonstrations.

Not internal logs. Provable records.
